Antique King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra Coronation Cup. 1902. Royal Family. Unique Gift.

An antique cup to commemorate the scheduled coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra on June 26th, 1902. The cup features the Royal Coat of Arms within a floral wreath. A scroll below reads "to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII" along with the phrase "God Save the King, 1902". The handle, like the rim, is adorned in gilt gold. Whilst the coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra was scheduled for June 26th 1902 as is described on the cup, it was postponed due to the King becoming ill and was instead held on 9th August of the same year. The cup measures are 3" tall and 3 1/2" across , this is including the handle. It is in very good condition considering its antiquity, there are a few minor blemishes and no chips, cracks or sign of repair.
